Perhaps watercolor is a visible record of a moment, a journey on the paper, just like a good biography or film is of a life; or a novel or piece of music a record of a thought process or an emotion. Water media is my choice in part because of its unforgiving and independent nature, which encourages me to accept the imperfections and trust in the outcome.
